GoPro
GoPro HERO5–HERO8 & original MAX
Already have an older GoPro? Bring the footage in.
These cameras predate GoPro’s open control API, so TRACK can’t start or stop them. Import the files after your session and TRACK reads the motion and GPS data inside to sync them.

05Where it stands
Tested, pending, and good to know.
- Telemetry parser tested on GoPro’s published sample files for HERO5, 6, 7, 8 and MAX.
- The in-app import flow still needs a run on a device with real footage.
- Turn GPS on in the camera settings to get GPS in the file.
