Every lap timed. Every tenth found.
Mount your phone, drive out of the pits, and TRACK recognises the circuit, times every lap and sector, and shows a live delta to your best so you know, corner by corner, whether you’re gaining.

In simulation; 0.007 s with a 25 Hz receiver. Each lap shows its own uncertainty.

Everything is computed on the phone, in the car.
01TRACK Drive
Mount it. Drive. Every lap, timed.
Your iPhone becomes the lap timer, data logger and onboard camera. Scroll to drive a real lap from our simulator. The timing engine is the same one that runs in the app.

Mount & calibrate
Stick the phone to the windshield. TRACK solves its orientation from motion, so calibration finishes while you roll out of the pits.
01How it works
How it works
- 01
Mount and calibrate
Stick the phone to the windshield. TRACK works out its orientation from motion as you roll out, so there is nothing to level.
- 02
Track recognised
GPS and map-matching identify the venue and layout, even where several layouts share the same pavement.
- 03
Live delta and sectors
A predictive delta to your reference lap updates continuously; sector splits turn purple, green or yellow as you cross them.
- 04
Lap complete
Every lap carries its own timing uncertainty. Pit laps, off-track laps and low-confidence laps are flagged, never counted silently.
02What’s in it
Built, tested, and labelled honestly.
Every feature shows where it really stands: built and tested, in beta, awaiting hardware validation, or planned.
- Built · tested in simulation
Directional timing-line crossing
Crossings are interpolated between GPS samples, with hysteresis so wobbling near the line never double-counts.
- Built · tested in simulation
Sectors and predictive delta
Sector splits, personal and session bests, and a live delta against your reference lap.
- Built · verified on simulated drives
Track and layout detection
Recognises venues from a global atlas and disambiguates layouts that share pavement.
- Built
Timing-line safety
Estimated or unverified start/finish lines never arm timing automatically; you confirm once, then laps are timed retroactively.
- Built · tested
Crash-safe recording
A journal that survives app kills and torn writes, with thermal, battery and storage guards.
- In the app beta · field validation ongoing
Real-car capture on iPhone
GPS, motion and camera capture on a physical iPhone at the track.

Questions
How accurate is phone GPS timing?
In TRACK’s simulation tests, median lap-time error was 0.037 s at the phone’s roughly 1 Hz GPS rate and 0.007 s with a 25 Hz receiver. Validation against a reference logger on a real car is next.
Does it work without mobile signal?
Yes. Timing, sectors and delta are computed on the phone.
Is it legal for official results?
No. TRACK is not a certified timing system. It’s built for track days, coaching and club events.
