Apple TV 4K
Your replays and TRACK Live, big on the TV.
Use the TV as a second screen: the replay, its broadcast graphics and the timing all render on the TV while your iPhone or iPad becomes the remote. Organizers can put the TRACK Live channel on the venue screen the same way.
01What it adds to TRACK
What it adds to TRACK
- 01
Graphics stay on
TRACK draws the full broadcast layout on the TV, not just the video, so speed, delta and the tower come with it.
- 02
Phone as remote
Scrub, jump between laps and corners, or loop a section from the phone without the controls covering the TV.
- 03
The venue screen
Organizers show the TRACK Live channel on paddock and hospitality TVs.
- 04
Connect and disconnect freely
Unplug or stop mirroring and playback keeps its place.
02How it connects
How it connects
- 1Open a replay or TRACK Live in the app.
- 2Start Screen Mirroring to the Apple TV from Control Center, or plug in an HDMI adapter.
- 3TRACK switches the TV to the broadcast layout and the phone to remote controls.
03Specs that matter to TRACK
- Connection
- Screen Mirroring (AirPlay) or HDMI
- Video-only fallback
- Standard AirPlay video, clearly labelled (no overlays)
- Native tvOS app
- Not built
04iPhone & Android
iPhone and Android
Screen Mirroring or HDMI from iPhone or iPad. Needs a real Apple TV to verify.
Apple TV is for iPhone and iPad. For Android, casting to a TV or HDMI output is planned with the Android app.
The TRACK iPhone app is in beta. The Android app is planned.
05Where it stands
Tested, pending, and good to know.
- The TV layout can be reviewed in Apple’s simulator.
- Mirroring latency, the device picker and remote behaviour need a real Apple TV.
- Standard AirPlay video can’t carry TRACK’s graphics; use Screen Mirroring or HDMI for the full layout.
Prices are typical US retail, checked October 2026, and change often. TRACK doesn’t sell hardware. Apple and product names are trademarks of their owners and describe compatibility only; no partnership or endorsement is implied.
