Fuel calculator
Track driving uses far more fuel than the road. Enter your lap time, how much fuel a lap uses and the session length to see how much to carry, including out-laps, a cool-down lap and a margin.

Keep extra above this: fuel pickup can starve in long corners on a low tank.
How it works
- 1Laps = session length ÷ lap time, rounded up, plus out-lap and cool-down lap.
- 2Fuel = laps × fuel per lap × (1 + margin).
- 3Measure fuel per lap by filling up before and after a known number of laps.
FAQ
Why does the car cut out with fuel still in the tank?
Fuel sloshes away from the pickup under long, hard cornering. Many cars need a quarter to a half tank minimum on track.
